The use of reclaimed tiles remains popular as many customers develop or extend existing properties and require a match for their roof, or wish to give their new development that instant period feel. Many reproduction tiles have been introduced onto the market but as of yet none of them can beat the real thing!

J.J. Reclamation Ltd. has one of the largest reclaimed yards in the country covering 3 acres and containing over 2 million tiles in stock at any one time.

Along with plain tiles, Roofing stones, Kent and Sussex Peg tiles, Pan tiles, Bricks and Roofing Slates, the list goes on!

We carry over 100,000 tile fittings including ridge tiles, valley tiles, Harris hip tiles, bonnett tiles and many other unusual and rare fittings.

Plain tiles can be divided into two distinct types, handmade and machine made.

Handmade tiles are produced by hand in a wooden mould then usually "cambered" together. Handmade tiles can vary in size, shape and colour.

Machine made tiles as the name suggest are generally more modern and lay more evenly across roofs.
